Idaho Trout Unlimited Riparian Workshop
Idaho TU Council Members, et al.
Attached is a flyer (pdf) regarding Idaho TU’s Bioengineering course. The course will take place September 27-29 in Boise. This course is partially funded by an embrace a stream grant and will provide both theoretical and hands-on training in designing and implementing bioengineered stream/riparian improvements. This is ideal for the Council or Chapter member/officer who wants to better understand best practices for stream improvements.
We have a small amount of funding available to cover tuition and some travel expenses for TU leaders and members who want to participate. If you plan to attend, please let me and Pam Elkovich (PElkovich@tu.org) know by July 20. If you would like to request financial assistance for travel expenses make sure you specify that, and provide an estimate of your expenses.
This program is part of our ongoing effort to make TU grassroots leaders the most knowledgeable conservation volunteers in the state. I strongly encourage all of you to attend.
Thanks in advance.
James Piotrowski
